The Half Pipe snowboard/ski Gore-Tex gloves from Level have a wide range of features to make these gloves suitable all season long. The Gore-Tex membrane offers exceptional waterproofing and breathability, the removable liner means the gloves are suitable in all weather conditions.
These gloves offer wrist support by implementing Biomex Protection, developed by Swiss physicians and Level professionals. Biomex wrist guard protection uses a more ergonomic shape for better comfort and ease of movement. During falls on the mountain the wrist guard keeps the wrist in an anatomically strong position to provide optimum stability and reduce the force of impact.
The water resistant treatmen fabric, keeps the water out, while the Gore-Tex membrane and Level's breathe system keep moisture out, keeping your hands nice and dry. The Kevlar reinforcement on the palm and fingertips keep these super tough gloves reliable for longer.
On top of that the gloves come with a few helpful features, Storm leash, cord lock, goggle and nose cleaner will keep you prepared and ready to hit the slopes. Level's relaxed fit design provides the perfect balance between warmth and comfort. Another helpful feature is the Griptex Palm, meaning you have more grip for holding your possessions on the mountain.
The Half Pipe snowboard/ski gloves from Level are packed full of features and great tech. With the added protection and high premium materials these gloves really stand out from the rest. Best ski gloves I've ever had - 2nd pair after many years!
These gloves ARE expensive. But make no mistake, they are totally worth the price. My first pair were basically the same model and I had them for years until they were just a bit too battered, so I now have a nice new pair. They have a tough wrist guard designed for boarders, but even as a skier I like the idea because I don't want a wrist injury either. The inners detach for washing, they are super warm and comfortable. Would never buy any other type of ski glove now.
Do these gloves work
The level gloves are reasonably good for warmth and they stay quite dry. I'm not 100% convinced that they protect your wrist as I can't really see how the guard possibly can. Maybe that's just me. One thing that was a annoying was that the guard digs into the centre of the palm or hand when carrying a board.
Confidence, goof fit, warm
I bought these after breaking my wrist badly last April, I did alot of researching and came across these, I wore them for my boarding holiday in January and didnt fall much but when I did I felt confident. They fit well, felt pretty comfy considering there is a plastic protector in there, I like them being part of the glove. They kept me warm, dry was ok as I had to wait around a fair bit they did get a little wet but think any would
