About the MSR Front Range Bug/Floor Insert

The MSR Front Range Bug/Floor Insert gives you an ultralight inner tent that transforms your Front Range Tarp into a double-wall hiking tent for added insect and ground protection when camping out in more challenging conditions.

The Front Range Insert accommodates up to four persons with a single, zippered door for access. It pitches using a ski/trekking pole or similar accessory pole (sold separately). Includes ski straps for ease of assembly. Micromesh walling keeps out the smallest of biting nasties while a 30D ripstop nylon bucket floor protects from ground moisture. Up top, a cone design keeps the rainfly off the mesh to prevent drips from condensation. This spacious tent body can also be used as a standalone shelter for small groups on warm-weather camping and trekking trips.
