About the Mammut Trion Nordwand 15
The Trion Nordwand 15 Climbing Backpack from Mammut is the definition of a climbing bag, inspired by trail running vests for practical access on the go. It comes with some great features that are all designed to make your time climbing as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible.
The Nordwand is built with 100D Nylon fabric with Dobby® Ripstop, 15 times tougher than steel, to produce an extremely robust bag that can withstand even the most extreme loads. The back panel and shoulder straps are anatomically shaped and padded for a comfortable fit, whilst super-lightweight and highly breathable 3D EVA foam provides great ventilation for those warmer climbs.
Other features that really make this bag stand out as an excellent rock climbing backpack are the attachment flap to hold your ropes, two strong ice axe holders, a trekking pole carrier and a waterproof external zipper pocket.
