The Pio Pio Solo Tent from Nigor gives you an incredibly lightweight, single-hoop tunnel shelter built for fast-moving trekking and adventure racing.
The ultralight design features a packed weight of just 989g (790g minimum) with a 48 x 12 cm packed size that easily attaches to a bike pannier or backpack for fast-and-light outdoor adventures.
Built for 3-season camping, the Pio Pio uses single pole architecture with one TRX Eco-Duralumin Airlite Aluminium pole. The steep pole angle offers generous headroom with short corner poles for optimised floor space.
The Pio Pio Solo pitches inner-first with a versatile design that can stand alone for use in good weather. An additional footprint (sold separately) gives you increased ground protection.
Inside, there's room enough for one person with single door access and 2 vents in the roof for airflow and moisture management. A vestibule provides extra space for storage of packs and muddy footwear.
A great shelter for warmer weather, the Pio Pio inner tent is constructed entirely of 15D breathable rip stop nylon with no-see-um mesh to maximize air flow inside while keeping even the smallest bugs outside.
Built for fast-and-light camping, the Pio Pio features GorLyn 10 fly fabric. This has been specially constructed for Nigor's lightweight range and uses high-tenacity nylon 6.6, with a yarn thickness of 10 denier which has a higher tensile strength than comparable materials.
The Pio Pio features a pure silicone waterproofing with 2 base coatings on the back side and 1 coating on the front to provide storm level waterproofing to 3000mm HH (see below for further benefits of Gorlyn fabrics).
