About the Petzl Multihook
Designed specifically for alpinists and ice climbing the Multihook is a folding Abalakov threading device.
The hook allows a cord to be threaded through hard-pack ice to make a V anchor up to 25cm in depth. Constructed out of stainless steel to resist corrosion the hook can be sharpened for optimal performance.
Included on the hook portion of the tool is a serrated chisel ground blase capable of cutting through rope and accessory cord effortlessly.
When folded the diameter of the Multihook allows it to fit inside the majority of ice screws facilitating effortless cleaning. The folded tool promotes safety with neither the hook or blade being exposed.
