About the Robens Chaser 1

The Chaser 1 tent forms part of Robens' Track Range of dedicated shelters designed to provide performance in more extreme conditions.

This one-person tent features a single hoop tunnel design with a lightweight alloy pole forming a central arch. Four fixed point external corner poles add stability and increase head and foot space. These poles also create a protective canopy to keep rain from the wide, low-angle mesh vents - a great feature to keep you cool on a warm summer night.

The innovative FlexPitch system allows versatility depending on the conditions you find yourself in. Either use the inner only for ventilation and bug protection, half flysheet with inner for partial wind protection, flysheet only for a lightweight shelter or full flysheet for full protection.

The inner tent utilises a nylon mesh offering breathability to reduce condensation while keeping out insects. The floor uses a tough 20D nylon ripstop with 5'000 mm of waterproofing to seal out ground moisture. Strong and durable tape is glued and heat-sealed over flysheet seams. Further ventilation is supplied by low vents, an apex door vent and a two-way zip.

The Chaser's low profile, double wedge shape helps shed wind making it ideal for camping in exposed areas. It's wind tested to an impressive 200km/h.

Further features include a door storage pocket, a gear-line for airing and drying damp clothes and an inner gear rope which transfers to the flysheet to keep it in shape when used on its own.
