The SOL (Survive Outdoors Longer) Scout Kit gives you a compact selection of outdoor essentials to help see you through an emergency situation.

The Scout survival kit helps you escape the elements, stay warm, and signal rescuers should you find yourself in a tight spot. This lightweight emergency kit features a heat-reflective 2-person survival blanket which reflects 90% of radiated heat for warmth and shelter from wind, rain, and snow.

A one-hand operable Fire Lite™ striker is waterproof and tested to produce over 5,000 sparks and includes Tinder Quik™ which burns up to two minutes, even when wet so you can get a fire started for warmth.

It also includes a 100dB Slim Rescue Howler™ rescue whistle (be heard up to 1-mile away) and Rescue Flash™ signal mirror (be seen up to 10 miles away). Rescue Flash mirror features a retro-reflective aiming aid that makes it easy for you to signal your position to rescuers.

A liquid-filled button compass, duct-tape for spot repairs, and a fishing/sewing kit complete the package that comes in a professional-grade RF-welded waterproof pouch for all-weather protection.

The compact size makes this an excellent survival pack for any adventure, whether it's a high-mileage trek, winter hill walk or afternoon on the local loop.
