The 2020 women's Salomon Gypsy is a super fun snowboard with a Rock Out camber that is flat between the feet for stability, cambered under foot for pop and control with rocker out to the tip & tail for an overall fun & forgiving ride.
This snowboard offers versatility & provides fun on any surface from park to pow. The Gypsy features Slingshot sidewalls that have carbon inlays to help adds extra pop into the board and helps to channel energy through any high speed turns. Biaxial fibre glass combined with the freestyle edge bevel makes the Gypsy agile, but also makes the board forgiving by the contact points to help you get away with scrubbed or sketchy landings.
Salomon's Quadralizer sidecut has been added to the women's Gypsy snowboard to offer a smooth combination of Equalizer and Quadratic sidecuts for the best of both worlds. Great high speed carving performance and cruisey relaxed easy to control turns at low speeds.
Salomon include Popster Booster technology twinned with an Aspen Select core, ensuring the gtpsy is lightweight and with plenty of pop for fun in the park. Salomon also gave the Gypsy a Sintered base for incredible wax retention & speed.
All female riders from beginner to pro will adore this snowboard & the Gypsy will keep you smiling & progressing all day long, no matter where you end up or what terrain you choose to ride.

I got this board as my first, last Christmas (2015) but I forgot to review it! I chose this board because it was described as being an excellent all-mountain board, and for any ability. As a beginner I can attest to it being perfect for new riders, feels stable and solid but has a much more fun flex compared to the thick rental boards I'd used before. I'm 5"9 and ride a 151, it's a shame they don't make longer versions for taller girls but luckily for me the 151 is just right, though could do with a wide version if my feet get any bigger! The design looks even more gorgeous in real life, I've had a lot of compliments on it. The board itself is really nice and light, though the ends have scuffed up quite quickly in my 5 months of riding it, compared to my boyfriend's Endeavour which has few scratches after years of work! The scuffs seem to be all cosmetic only, however. I ride it mainly on hard packed snow/ almost icy and it holds an edge well. Overall, 10/10 for this beautiful board.
Amazing board! Looks sick, hard to get used to compared to previous boards but loving it now!!
