About the Salomon S/Force W 7

The S/Force sits in Salomon's Frontside ski range and is all about piste performance. These skis are built for female skiers who like to ski all the marked trails on the mountain and confidently ride in all types of snow, from ice to end of season slush.

The S/Force W 7 skis are a great choice for intermediates who spend the majority of their time on piste and want to take their skiing, specifically their carving, to the next level. The S/Force W7 features a Poplar core to provide you with a better edge grip at every turn, great for reducing vibration and delivering optimum stability and powerful rebound at higher speeds.

The core is enclosed by a Semi Sandwich. This is a sidewall/cap construction that gives grip but also prevents the tips and tails from catching during turns. Therefore, riders can get right onto the edges without having to worry about being thrown about by the ski. This comes in super handy when practicing high performance turns.

At 76 mm underfoot, the S/Force W7 is geared up for responsive piste skiing but Salomon has added a slight tip rocker and wider tip profile. This provides two benefits: the tip will engage quicker when you want to start a turn or lay down a carve and the rocker helps to ease you into a smoother turn. Both the rocker and the width of the tip also help the S/force 7 float a little better so it's easier to use in varied terrain or chopped-up cruddy conditions.
