The Sierra Designs Convert 2 tent is built to deliver practical comfort across all four seasons while still packing a low weight. The freestanding tunnel design features an additional centre hoop pole that creates the strength of a mountaineering tent while the 20D fabric delivers a reduced pack weight over traditionally heavier 4-season tents.

The Convert takes its name from the removable vestibule - a great way to save weight when added storage space isn't needed. The fully removable fly also lets you use the inner as a standalone shelter where conditions permit.

On the inside, there's room enough for 2 people with single door access and an optional vestibule for storage and meal prep. This updated model features a larger vestibule arch pole for ease of setup and more internal space. Door panels are waterproof with a full zip window while the inner canopy is made of breathable 20D poly body fabric to keep out spindrift and dust - a great feature to have when leaving the fly at home.

Flysheet is a low-weight 20D nylon ripstop with 68D poly ripstop groundsheet. Silicone/PeU waterproof treatment delivers a hydrophobic coating with increased mould and mildew resistance and hydrostatic head up to 1200mm in the fly and 2000mm in the floor.

The innovative 'burrito' style storage pack makes it quick and easy to pack away while an additional footprint (sold separately) boosts ground protection.
