The Sierra Designs High Route 3000 1 returns with an updated design built to the needs of campers heading out into an ever-changing North European climate.

Enhanced waterproofing, added wind protection, and a PFC-free construction makes the High Route 3000 1 a standout design for fast-moving hiking and trekking. It also features a green 'earth-tone' flysheet to blend in with the landscape for wild camping adventures.

Taking inspiration from the lightweight needs of National Geographic adventurer of the year, Andrew Skurka, the High Route gives you a single shelter that can be used year-round. With a packed weight of just over 1kg and travel-friendly pack size, the High Route is perfect for fast-moving backpacking, mountain marathons, and bikepacking tours.

The non-freestanding design can be pitched in full as a double-wall tent for 3-season camping; as a standalone mesh body for warmer weather or as a tarp shelter for minimalist outings. The High Route pitches using trekking poles or the Sierra Designs Accessory Pole Set (sold separately) and features vertical walling and an oversize volume for practical comfort.

On the inside, there's room enough for 1-person with main door for access and a smaller back entrance for added versatility and access to added storage in the rear vestibule.

The 20D nylon ripstop fly and 30D nylon ripstop floor fabric see an increase to 3000mm hydrostatic head while the addition of 20D solid nylon ripstop interior side panels delivers improved wind resistance. A 15D nylon No-See-Um mesh in the upper portion of the inner tent offers ventilation and moisture management.
