About the The North Face Powderflo FutureLight™
Designed for full protection from wet and cold conditions, the Powderflo FutureLight™ Ski/Snowboard bottoms are ready for absolutely anything the mountain can throw at them.
With a 3 layer FUTURELIGHT™ shell, you can rest assured that you'll remain dry no matter how wild the weather or backcountry ride gets. To create its FUTURELIGHT™ products, The North Face uses a nanospinning process that produces minuscule holes in the fabric to increase air permeability without compromising waterproofness, enabling the wearer to remain dry and fresh at all times whilst on the slopes. The trousers are also fitted with another The North Face technology that assists with airflow: the Chimney Venting™ system, which enables air to rise through the stretch mesh gaiter and escape through the inner thigh vents. The Powderflo FutureLight™'s feature Jacket-to-Pant Integration too, which keeps out snow and those nasty cold drafts.
Not only does FUTURELIGHT™ protect you from the planet, but it also returns the favour back to mother nature as well. Made from recycled polyester and nylon with a non-PFC durable water-repellent (non-PFC DWR) finish, these pants score high in both sustainability and on-snow performance.
Complete with a huge array of practical pockets with waterproof exposed zippers, you can keep all your powder day essentials safe and close to hand. These pockets are specially placed to be comfortable and accessible even when you're wearing a harness, perfect for those who enjoy getting up the mountain just as much as riding down it. Stretchvent boot gaiters and jacket-to-pant integration seal out the elements and will keep you covered even in the deepest powder.
