About the Infuse Hybrid Boa
At the top of Vans' 2019 snowboard boot line, the Infuse Pat Moore pro model mixes classic Vans style with state-of-the-art features and tech to deliver a high end, all mountain boot that won't let you down.
Its hybrid plus closure BOA system uses laces from top to bottom with the a BOA closure system that specifically surrounds your instep area to pull your foot back into the boot and give a secure fit, and the ability to tighten or loosen the flex of the boot, making it fully customisable. This combination holds your foot much tighter than that of just have a traditional lace system and allows you to make adjustments on the go without having to fully undo your laces.
Vans' Custom Slide Guide is an anatomically shaped pad that can be moved along the BOA closure system to provide added comfort along the instep area and provide maximum heel hold.
The Infuse gives riders the option to custom tune the flex of these boots thanks to Vans' Flex Control System. By choosing the arrangement of the two removable internal tongue stiffeners, the rider can choose to maximize support by leaving both in, increase lateral and medial response just using one, or for a softer boot with more flex remove both. This gives you the option of a softer flexing boot that is great for all mountain riding and a medium/stiff boot that is great for freeride and backcountry riding. The Flex Control System also ensures a consistent and smooth flex without the boots shell interfering.
The Infuse has been fitted with Vans' top liner - the V3 UltraCush Liner, which is fully heat moldable for a perfect fit. The adjustable/removable X-Cage keeps your foot fully locked down to eliminate heel lift and maximise response and control, whilst the closed-seam microsuede cuff and tongue together with the Comfort Flex toe box offer unbeatable comfort from the first lift until the last.
Finished off with an outer construction which is treated to give a durable, waterproof upper that also looks amazing, a comfy V3 UltraCush Footbed, a grippy V3 Ultimate Waffle Outsole and breathable valves, the Infuse represent the pinnacle of dynamics and performance from Vans and is a must have for advanced riders who want customisable boots.

- V3 UltraCush Footbed - Vans' top footbed has dual density UltraCush Lite construction with impact relief pads, cork/recycled EVA heat-moldable arch support cradle, a 3D-molded anatomical shape, airflow perforations and a Nylex moisture-wicking top sheet to help keep your feet dry!
- V3 Ultimate Waffle Outsole - UltraCush midsole construction for lightweight performance and a co-molded asymmetrical ESS arch cradle for enhanced stability and energy transfer. Aggressive, tacky tread pattern gives grip in all conditions whilst the TPU arch gives additional foot support
- Flex Control System - Removable tongue stiffeners allow you to customise the boots flex between standard support, medial support, lateral support and full support. These also adjust the boots flex pattern from a softer, more all mountain freestyle flex to a stiffer freeride flex
- Instep Flex Zones - Flex zones prevent the shell from intruding on the boots flex pattern
