About the Waterhaul Crantock

The Waterhaul Crantock is made from 100% recycled fishing nets intercepted from the ocean, with protective polarised lenses, to provide full sustainability and UVA/UVB 400 protection.

The recycled frames contain 0% virgin plastics, 100% recycled fishing nets that were collected from European waters through end-of-life amnesty schemes and beach and dive based ghost net recoveries. As the frame are made from recycled green polypropylene trawl nets (the most abundant form of net found on UK beaches), each pair will have subtle unique differences with subtle flecked patterns and the laser etched logo’s reveal the green pigment from the original fishing nets! Giving your sunnies a back story of the efforts Waterhaul has taken to free the ocean from plastics.

The frames feature five barrel hinges for maximum durability and the Crantock comes fitted with recycled polarised lenses offering optical clarity, eliminating glare from reflective surfaces of water, snow and wet roads with full spectrum UV400 protection.

  • 100% UVA/UVB 400 protection
