About the Armada Locator 96
The Armada Locator series is the perfect backcountry partner, its up for anything and will never let you down whether the conditions are all time, post apocalyptic or something in between. Light enough to tour, powerful enough to charge, wide enough to float and accessible enough to suit a variety of people - the Locator series deliver skis to take all over the mountain and into the backcountry.
With a 96mm waist width, the Locator 96 sits in the all mountain section of width, it can cruise around the resort all day or head into the hills for untouched lines. AR75 sidewalls give excellent edge hold and power transmission, so wherever you find yourself the Locator will give supreme hold on ice and hard snow. The Caruba core consists of lightweight wood running the length of the ski whilst a Carbon reinforcement gives premium levels of agility and manoeuvrability without sacrificing on security or dampness. Armadas EST Freeride rocker gives optimum float for powder and excellent levels of pivot to get you down tight couloirs or between trees.
The Armada Locator 96 is designed for progressing intermediate skiers as an all mountain ski to advanced skiers who want to head anywhere on the mountain with a lightweight set up with a medium stiffness, equally at home touring as it is on the descents.

- Carbon Reinforcement - Optimises vibration damping along the length of the ski to make the ski more damp, stable and tough without adding weight. In the ends of the ski, the weave runs nearly tip-to-tail, filtering chatter and tip bounce. Underfoot, the weave runs nearly side-to-side, filtering vibration
