About the Black Crows Atris Birdie

The Atris Birdie has a solidified profile that provides improved stability at high speed, whilst still retaining its renowned playfulness and handling. The Birdie is lighter and a little more supple than the unisex version and comes in women-specific lengths. By extending the radius, softening the flex, and making the heel rise more progressive they have definitely succeeded in creating a ski that feels comfortable at all speeds and is as rewarding as it is comforting.

At 105mm underfoot it is definitely in the powder/ big mountain ski category but with a full Poplar wood core and camber underfoot it is a lively and stable ski that will surprise & delight you with its all-mountain versatility. The Atris Birdie has an underfoot width of 105 mm and a double rocker design. As a result, the Atris Birdie will effortlessly float in deep, light pow, but also cut through variable conditions enabling you to stay stable on the skis even when the ride gets bumpy.

The double beak twin tip design is perfect for those who enjoy playing around off the pistes. It allows one to ride a switch and makes the skis super easy to pivot tightly in tricky terrain.

Being playful, powerful, and easy to ski on, the Black Crows Atris Birdie is a great choice not only for hard-charging powder hounds but for any rider looking to experience the pure pleasure that is freeriding!

Features Include
  • Double Beak Profile - Rocker in both the tip and tail makes an easy-to-use, dynamic ski which floats in the deepest of conditions, meanwhile camber underfoot gives stability in harder conditions
  • Poplar / Fiberglass Wood Core - This is a lively core that gives stability and power for high-performance skiing
  • Semi-Cap Step Down ABS Sidewalls - A semi-cap construction gives the strength and grip of sidewalls, but also saves weight and makes the skis easier to pivot
  • Slightly Straight Sidecut (20m Radius) - More stability at high speed, a better balance between firmness and maneuverability
