The Black Diamond Quickdraw Pro Probe is an excellent quality, shorter-length pole designed for lightweight backcountry tours. The Avalanche safety probe has a durable aluminium shaft with an oversized tip, increasing probing sensitivity to help locate burial victims more easily.

It comes with Black Diamond's Dual QuickDraw speed assembly system which assembles the pole in one swift motion with a pull of the cord extremely fast. This also works in conjunction with the carry bag, so you just have to pull it out of the bag by the cord allowing you to get probing faster. The oversized, durable alloy tip provides a better feel when probing by creating a hole larger than the shaft of the probe further improving efficiency. A high visibility 1cm depth scaling on the probe gives a more accurate location of victims.
