Designed by Black Diamond for the most technical mountain missing the Venom LT Tech excels at punching up steep couloirs or under cornices on ski mountaineering missions to demanding summer alpinism.

Weighing in at a mere 305g the ice tool has been designed for ultralight versatility in the big mountains. Armoured with a replaceable Hot Forged Tech LT Pick that is replaceable and coupled with an ergonomically forged aluminium head, the Venom LT excels at both self-arresting and biting into ice on climbs.

Grooved jimping on the shaft improves grip even with gloves. A steel spike ensures dependable placement on the hardest glacial ice.

The Venom LT Tech is further armed with a hammer attachment for use with pitons and tricams. An adjustable pommel aids the axe in dexterity on steeper climbs. However, the unit can be stripped down with the pick swapped to the Classic LT pick to become the Venom LT Classic 240-gram tool. The unit is also compatible with Black Diamonds Transfer Shovel for complete mountain capability.
