About the Black Diamond Vision MIPS

The Vision is Black Diamond's most durable helmet on their range and features a lightweight, super sleek geometric design with a ventilation system that has climbers raving, as well as innovative MIPS technology.

MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection) provides added protection from angled impacts to the head, reducing rotational motion by absorbing and redirecting these impact forces away from the brain.

Ventilation provided from the Vision helmet is unrivalled - geometric vent ports are strategically placed across the back and side of the helmet to allow substantial airflow on warm days and hardcore ascents. The vents also serve to create a super lightweight lid which fits comfortably.

Your head will be impeccably protected thanks to Black Diamond's engineering. Improved slide and back coverage offers better protection than ever before. The helmet is made from co-moulded EPP and EPS foam and polycarbonate shell which provides full-coverage whilst keeping the helmet incredibly lightweight at just 240g.

The suspension is extremely low profile for a more comfortable fit and sleeker feel. Keeping with its discrete nature, the Vision also has in-moulded clips (which you probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't just told you!) for a head torch should you wish to climb in the dark.
