Orage
Born from a genuine passion for skiing and a love of the mountains, Orage lives on the apex of fashion And function. Always at the centre of modern mountain culture, Orage crafts supreme outerwear, casual wear, layering and accessories. Everything Orage makes is designed to keep you warm, dry, and comfortable, but most importantly, not looking exactly like everyone else on the mountain.
Hailing from Montreal, Canada, Orage is a contemporary and innovative ski clothing brand specialising in outerwear, layering and accessories that not only keep you comfortable, dry and warm but also look great on the mountain.
Orage has been driven by a passion for the sport and industry right from the onset. They were created in 1989 by Evelyn Trempe, who, whilst studying Business at the University of Quebec, began making her own range of ski jackets and pants from her parents' house. Rather than attempting to start a business, Evelyn was trying to create a product that her friends and the university's ski team could use on the slopes.
Eventually, Evelyn and her business partner Eric D'Anjou began selling their products to the public and before long, their passion for product design, fashion, and skiing began rubbing off on shop owners and staff who started to stock the Orage brand. As demand grew, Evelyn's parents' house was swapped with a brand new office space and from that point on to this very day, Orage has been manufacturing the latest and best that ski apparel has to offer.
As Orage has grown, its ethos has always been the same - to transfer its passion and enthusiasm for skiing into the products they produce, resulting in fresh, stylish, functional apparel that blurs the lines between high-street fashion and ski outerwear.
