About the Deuter Gröden 32

The Groden 32 is just like the Zugspitze backpack which was one of first packs to feature Deuter’s revolutionary Aircomfort back system heritage. Featuring the same classic styling and functionality as the Zugspitze models but with a larger capacity, ideal for anyone looking for extra space for winter gear.

The Groden utilises the classic functional backpack design. The main compartment of the pack can be used to store larger items, while a front zippered pocket and lid enable you to keep equipment separated. Elasticated mesh side pockets allow bottles to be easily accessible. Like the majority of deuters packs the Groden features a raincover that can be stowed at the base of the bag.

The Deuter Aircomfort System, utilises a mesh backing that sits flush onto the back that reduces sweating by up to 25%. Spring steel frames provides both flexibility and dexterity of motion, capable of transferring the weight effectively into the hip belts for load bearing comfort. This semi geodesic frame provides the backing for Deuter’s patented 3-sided ventilation system.

The Groden is made from a combination of Deuter fabrics. The base and front panels of the pack are made from Deuter Super Polytex, a 600 den Polyester thread, a robust fabric suitable for a range of multi-disciplines. The fabric is robust and coated in a premium quality Polyurethane, providing exceptional durability for hard wearing areas.

The remainder of the pack is constructed from Deuter Microrip Nylon, a 210 den nylon fabric, a fine ultralight yet durable nylon ideal for when reducing weight is the primary concern. The conglomeration of these materials used in conjunction allows for maximum durability of the Groden without sacrificing on weight.

The Groden keeps with the classic top loading design and combines it with modern Deuter fabrics to keep the pack versatile for the modern adventurer.
