About the Demon Nylon Conditioning

The Demon Base Brush is a really stiff finishing brush with very hard nylon bristles, designed to provide structure to the base of your board or skis after you have applied the wax. Once you have scraped off all the excess wax, brushing creates mini striations in the surface, helping to breakdown surface tension and promote glide.

The Demon Base Brush has a solid wood handle, ergonomically shaped for good grip. By brushing it and making all your strokes from nose to tail, you are actually making lots of little grooves and channels in the base that will help your board glide over the snow faster.
