About the Dirty Dog Solar

The durable Solar is a great quality, lightweight snowboard/ski helmet from Dirty Dog. To maximise comfort and custom fit, the Solar uses an advanced rear dial system which is quick and easy to use, so you can always feel comfortable on your ride.

The Dirty Dog Solar uses a high-density EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) inside the helmet, which offers greater absorption of impacts and better temperature regulation. The outer shell is a PC (polycarbonate) shell to provide the tough shielding you need.

To keep you cool out on the mountain, the Solar helmet features 10 vents strategically placed to allow maximum cooling, and the top vent also has a handy open and close button.
