About the DMM Flux

With its tiny length of 35cm less than most people's forearms, DMM has created not only the lightest but also the most compact ice axe on the market that features a certified steel pick.

Designed to be used as an all-mountain axe the Flux is small and compact enough not to weigh you down. It makes the axe an ideal safety tool for ultralightweight ascents, such as summer alpine tours, ski mountaineering, and even fell running. Compact enough to fit into the back of a running vest the Flux has redefined the use case of an ice axe.

However, do not let its size fool you. A high-strength tempered steel pick, hammer for placing pegs, and a lightweight Aluminium spike for complete reliability and durability. A solid and light anodized shaft constructed from aluminum keeps weight down while CNC machined grooves provide extra security in wet terrain.
