About the Faction Prodigy 1 Gu
The weapons of choice for Olympic gold medallist Eileen Gu, the Faction Prodigy 1 Gu skis are stable and easy to manoeuvre, with bags of flex and pop when you need to mix things up. They're perfect for intermediate to advanced skiers and just as at home on the piste as they are in the park.
The Prodigy 1 Gu skis are made from a blend of poplar and ash wood, which creates an ultra-flexy freestyle ski with all the power, stability, and stiffness you need to nail steeps and halfpipes and dominate the park effortlessly. Designed with an anti-chip micro-cap construction for epic toughness, the Gu skis are made to handle anything Eileen can throw at them.
With a directional twin shape, 88mm waist, and mirrored graphic composition, the super-fluid and versatile Prodigy 1 Gu Skis are a joy to ride wherever on the mountain you want to explore.
- Sustainable Poplar Wood Core - A medium-weight, durable softwood with bags of pop and flex, together with loads of vibration absorption capabilities

- Full Strength Sidewall Construction - Sidewalls are great for grip and ski stability. They also help dampen vibration and disperse impact through the ski to make the ride more comfortable
- Die-Cut PTEX 3000 - This sintered base material is fast and is more porous than other materials so holds wax better
- Anti-Chip Micro-Cap - The topsheet is slightly rolled over the topsheet to protect this area which is otherwise sensitive to damage

- Rocker/Camber/Rocker - Rocker tip & tail with 3mm camber blends stability, edge hold and manoeuvrability
- Elliptical Radius Sidecut - longer radius underfoot for long, stable arcs + shorter radius in the tip and tail for awesome versatility, effortless turn initiation
- Moustache Flex - Enhanced stability behind and in front of the binding area for super-solid edge hold, with a smooth, progressive flex in the tip and tail for absorbing different bumps and snow debris
