About the Grayl GeoPress Purifier Cartridge

Whether you're travelling light on the mountain trail or hostel hopping your way around South America the question of clean drinking water is always foremost. The replacement GeoPress Purifier Cartridge from Grayl gives you a backup filter for when your current one reaches the end of its lifespan.

The GeoPress uses an ion exchange and activated carbon filter system to filter and purify water from uncertain sources. The ion exchange captures pathogens (i.e. viruses, protozoa, bacteria) as dirty water is forced through the purifier media. At the same time, the activated carbon absorbs chemicals, heavy metals, flavours and odours. The result is purified water that is safe to drink.

From river trips and alpine treks to worldwide travel and even part of a home disaster kit, the Purifier Cartridge from Grayl offers peace of mind in getting a supply of safe drinking water wherever you go.
