About the Grivel G12

The G12 Crampon from Grivel gives you an all-round powerhouse crampon. The rigid/semi-rigid alpine crampon has a simple design that fits a wide range of footwear; from adult down to junior sizes. The low profile keeps the foot closer to the rock or ice giving you greater control while the forged points make short work of hard ice.

Underfoot, twelve steel points provide traction over icy and snowy routes and terrain while a multi-ply stainless steel flex regulation bar works like suspension, providing dynamic movement that allows the crampon to flex with the foot as you climb. The G12 features Grivel's Antibott system. This pro-active, anti-ball plate design works to prevent the build-up of wet snow and ice underfoot, which can otherwise render the crampon's grip ineffective and lead to slips and falls.

The two parts are designed to fit together - points inward - to be stowed safely when not in use. The Grivel G12 Classic Crampon delivers durable construction that you can rely on to help get you to the top and back again.
