About the Grivel Rambo 4

The Rambo Evo 4 Crampon from Grivel gives you an efficient, totally rigid alpine crampon with a simple design that fits a wide range of footwear. The low profile keeps the foot closer to the rock or ice giving you greater control while the forged points make short work of hard ice.

It has a forged front point that can be replaced with a single screw. The forging allows a three-dimensional shape to improve ice penetration, without rebounds, with plenty of support. Making adjustments is convenient and easy all done from a single screw. The position of each point is designed to provide greater stability in all climbing positions and on all forms of ice.

The Rambo 4 Evo is equipped with Grivel's proactive Antibott system both on the front and on the back. This system prevents snow build up under the crampons producing a lump that prevents the points from continuing to bite the ground and creates very dangerous problems of stability and safety. Every step you take unloads the snow with an elastic like action, taking advantage of your walking movement.
