About the K2 Wayback 98
If you're after something that loves the backcountry but delivers excellent downhill performance everywhere, the versatile K2 Wayback 98s could be for you. They're narrow enough for a spring tour yet wide enough to navigate variable conditions comfortably.
Medium stiff and responsive, the Wayback's All-Terrain Rocker works in all conditions thanks to the gradual rise in the tip, with a low, short rise in the tail giving you added control in variable snow. The Wayback 98s also feature K2's epic Titanal Touring Technology, that is based on the premise that going downhill is the priority. As with their high-end piste and freeride skis, they'’ve incorporated Titanal laminates into the construction, which delivers serious downhill performance in all conditions.
With an ultra-light Paulownia core that's lively, strong, and flexible, the Wayback 98 skis redefine the standard for lightweight and high-performance touring skis.
