About the La Sportiva Tarantula Boulder LV

Designed specifically for bouldering and indoor climbing the Tarantula Boulder from La Sportiva is the latest variant from the line of the same name. The LV version has a lower internal volume designed for smaller feet or for those who require a greater performance fit.

A neutral last enables the Boulder to accommodate all foot shapes allowing those first embarking on their climbing journey to be on the rock or volumes for longer, thus developing better technique and strength. The half sole provides broad movement ability with increased sensitivity on crimps and edges, the unit is ideal for those looking for their first starter shoe that will allow them to progress fast.

Ideal for the regular climber, the sole unit of the Boulder can be re-soled, allowing your Tarantula to evolve with your climbing progression. A slightly more adept heel construction enhances the fit and allows for heel hooking performance. A rubber toe cap which is integrated into the range optimises the shoe for toe hook should you embark on more demanding bouldering problems.

With an upper constructed from leather suede, the shoe provides multiple hours of comfort. As with all leather shoes, please be aware the fabric will stretch to a degree, thus comforting to your foot. The midsole uses LaSpoFlex 1,8mm to complete a durable midsole that provides some rigidity without compromising on dexterity. Boulder uses FriXion Black for the main sole unit for exceptional grip on the wall.
