About the LINE Blade Optic 104

The LINE Blade Optic is brand new for the season and is right at home charging big mountain laps to cruising smooth burns on early morning corduroy and everything in between.

With a waist width of 104mm, the Blade Optic sits comfortably in the all-mountain ski category but they are designed to give as much grip as possible when initiating a turn. Titanal plates are focused across the width of the ski with two independent tip and tail titanal pieces adding extra power and energy. This construction increases edge grip and torsional stiffness essential for maintaining a lively and stable feel to charge around the mountain. A 5-cut geometry, blending 5 different radii shapes into the sidecut of the ski, giving you no boundaries with your turn shapes. The directional flex allows for easy turn initiation as well as allowing you to just bound through the bumps and jumps whilst the stiffer tail gives you superior stability, power, and speed control.

Being an aggressive all-mountain ski to cope with the vibrations from carving on hardpacked surfaces the Blade Optic uses ultra-high density polyethylene vertical walls over the edges to absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission. The Blade Optic also features thicker base and edge to increase durability and again to provide an insane sidewall grip for carve turns that leave deep cut trenches in the snow.

The LINE Blade Optic is a new breed of all-mountain directional ski designed for hard-charging on all snow conditions, with the ability to power through turns as you have never experienced before.

Features Include
  • Sidewall Construction - Ultra-High Density Polyethylene vertical walls over the edges absorb vibrations and provide powerful energy transmission.
  • Aspen Core - An amalgam of Aspen Stringers brought together for a lightweight, snappy, and engaged feel.
  • 5Cut Geometry - 5-radius sidecut to give the ski perfect control no matter how much edge you are on
  • Gas Pedal Metal Construction - Titanal bands accross the width of the ski provides increased edge grip and torsional stability.
  • Early Rise Tip - The tip and tail lift away from the snow to bring the contact points closer to the center of the ski. This increases a ski's lift in deep snow and engagment on hardpacked surfaces
  • Fatty Base & Edge - 30% thicker base & edge, 2mm wide x 2.5mm high steel edges and 1.7mm thick base.
  • Directional Flex- The softer tip floats & initiates turns easily while the stiffer tail provides power, stability & high speed control.
  • Overdrive- Titanal focused vertically throughout the ski, extending throughout the tip and tail designed to add stability, power, and precision.
  • Thin Tip- A thin core & sidewall in the tips are 100 grams lighter per pair for reduced swing weight & tip bounce.
  • Weight- 2170g per ski without bindings
