About the MSR AutoFlow XL Gravity Filter

Whether you're backpacking a mountain trail or getting away on a wild camping trip, the question of clean drinking water is always foremost.

The AutoFlow XL Gravity Filter 10L gives you a safe, reliable, and versatile way to filter drinking water across all outdoor adventures.

The AutoFlow XL uses a replaceable hollow fibre filter with an easy-to-use gravity feed design. Just fill up the reservoir and suspend the system from a tree or supporting feature letting the water pass through the hose and filter into a clean water vessel at the other end. The gravity feed design means you can set up the system and leave it to filter while you get on with pitching camp or prepping dinner. The AutoFlow XL can filter up to 1.75 litres per minute with 1500 litres per filter (average).

Filters out water-borne bacteria, protozoa and particulates (sediment, silt). It does not offer effective protection against viruses. A simple mechanical design, it uses no batteries or chemicals and can be cleaned/maintained in the field with a tool-free design.

The 10L water reservoir is made from a tough 3-dimensional film with RF-welded seams and a rugged 1000D flat base that resists wear and tear. It features a roll-top design that lets you scoop water directly from the source for quick fills on the go.
