About the Nidecker Mellow
The Nidecker Mellow is a surf-inspired snowboard with all-round performance and is suitable for riding in all conditions. It comes in a directional surfboard-like shape and is great for intermediate to advanced skiers to use on powder, when twisting in between obstacles off-piste and general all-mountain riding.
The Mellow is as the name suggests a cool customer. The Master Core Woodcore combines the best of a variety of wood types to give you an incredibly light end result that doesn't cut short on power, performance or strength. Meanwhile, the surfy camrock profile increases float and carvability and the N-7000 sintered base helps minimise drag.
With pop carbon fibres, the Mellow absorbs all unwanted vibrations (alongside bad vibes), keeping energy loss to a minimum and giving you the smoothest ride yet, even in harsh conditions. Further features include a tip lift and a shortened tail which is great for powder riding and a shorter radius and semi-stiffness which make it ideal for all-mountain use too.
Nidecker takes their sandwich construction up another level in the Mellow by adding materials like carbon and kevlar for even more power, pop, response and shock absorption. A wood veneer top layer and triax plus fiberglass adds responsiveness further and balances absorption and pop perfectly.
With supreme rating across the board (no pun intended), the Mellow excels in floatability, carvability, and response; a tonne of ability for a premier Nidecker board.

- Triax Plus Fiberglass - The result of extensive testing. Orientated at 45° to the board and contains different glass densities. This provides consistent torsional flex, better pop and more reactivity on every turn
- Master Core Woodcore - The perfect harmony of dfferent wood densities and varieties (poplar, beech, spruce, and paulownia) resulting in a superior weight-to-performance-to power ratio and an ultra-strong, extra-responsive, lightweight core
- N-7000 Base - An extremely tough, sintruded base with added carbon nanoparticles that provide exceptional glide
- Pop Carbon Fibres - Strategic placement of carbon fibre from the tail to the rear inserts and from the nose to the front inserts results in a more reactive board with increased pop and stiffness. Its vibration dampening qualities make it ideal for more aggressive riding in all conditions
