The Kodiak saw features a T grip handle for ultimate stability and power when time is of the essence. It also features the Ortovox chopping function. Just remove the head from the shaft and turn it 90 degrees. This allows the handle to slot into the top of the blade to create a super efficient hatchet for getting through tough ice or other hard to reach areas.
The saw variant of the Kodiak is equipped with a saw blade that stows into the handle of the shovel for the densest snow.
Now even more space efficient than before, it takes up less room in your pack without affecting the working length of the shovel.
