The Petzl Borea helmet is an ideal all-day helmet for female climbers after a low profile helmet that offers durable all over head protection.
The Borea is constructed in a shape specifically for women. Smoother lines give it a more feminine style whilst the OMEGA headband has a pronounced notch so you can wear it with a pony tail. The headband folds into the shell for easy storage and transport.
The Borea features a hybrid construction with a scratch and impact resistant ABS shell outer and expanded polypropylene (EPP) and expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam liner. The combination of hard shell and foam offers reinforced impact protection in a lightweight package.
The cradle can be adjusted easily to fit a range of head circumferences and its straps can be further tweaked to suit head height. A straight forward buckle secures the helmet under the chin. The straps and cradle can be packed away into the shell for neat storage and transportation.
Generous ventilation holes allow for constant airflow and headlamp clips are seamlessly integrated into the design for early morning or late evening time climbs.
