Pit Viper's 2000s series encapsulates the best of the millennial year - oversized frames, graphic colours and an all-around blanket of safety which ushered in the naughties.

Built with Z87+ safety-rated lenses, this means that the construction of these sunnies has gone through all manner of stringent tests (seriously):

The High-Mass Test, where a half kilo pointed weight is dropped from over 4 feet onto the lenses, and they remain fracture-free.

The High-Velocity Test, where a ¼-inch steel ball is shot at over 100mph across 20 different locations on the lens, remaining fracture-free.

I honestly don't know what situation you'll find yourself in where sharp weights and repeated projectiles are coming at your face, but wouldn't you be glad that you're wearing these bad boys when they do? (Please don't go out of your way to get into such an awful scenario).
