Even the shape is built to please on this Rab sleeping mat. The tapered mummy shape helps keep pack size to a minimum, and it's also nice and light, so carrying it around couldn't be less hassle. Comfort-wise, there are oversized outer chambers to help you stay in the middle of the mat as you sleep, and the oh-so-soft-finish fabric even has a graduated grip print to help stop your sleeping bag slip during the night.
When it comes to inflating and deflating the Ionosphere 5, Rab has created a crazy-useful low-profile two-way valve and pump sack, so you won't waste any time getting ready or packing up.
The Ionosphere 5 is made using 100% recycled insulation, recycled fabric and a fluorocarbon-free DWR, and offers a superb warmth-to-weight ratio. So it's better for the environment as well as being great for a sound night's sleep.
