The Rab Muon 40 features the most advanced tech for hikers and trekkers who like to move fast over long distances with lighter loads. This ND version offers a female-friendly narrower fit.
The Muon ND 40 is constructed from a combination of high-tenacity nylon and Spectra® Ripstop. Spectra® Ripstop material consists of a grid of lightweight and bullet-resistant polyurethane fibres which is woven into equally tough 210 Cordura nylon fabric. Pound for pound, the yarn is 15 times stronger than steel. This offers unparalleled durability against abrasion and tearing, while also exhibiting resistance to UV damage and water. Ideal for mountain-based activities!
The TRI-FLEX™ carry system is designed for both support and stability, hugging your back closely to allow unrestricted movement and agility, even when carrying heavy loads. This lightweight and easily removable system features a back panel that efficiently sheds snow.
An array of additional storage features come in the form of external stash pockets on the side to provide easy access for water bottles or maps and inner and outer zippered pockets for other quick-grab items you want to keep separate from your main load. The Muon is also compatible with carrying z-folding poles and there is both a webbing ladder and lower straps to keep additional items at arm's length.
A roll top opening/closure keeps access to the heart of the pack quick and simple and is extremely handy if you need to compress down a few extra items inside - things that would normally overflow in your regular-closing everyday backpack! Compression straps allow the pack volume to be cinched down to increase stability and provide load-bearing comfort. This ensures the pack has an anatomically stable fit, paramount for all-day carrying comfort.
An adjustable and supportive hip belt enhances comfort and ergonomically adapts to the user. The pack also comes with a sleeve to fit a 3 litre hydration system.
