Designed to bridge the gap between a technical walking axe and a dedicated climbing axe the Alpine Tec is the perfect compromise for alpinists looking to progress with alpine and glacier climbs.

Exceptionally comfortable to carry in the hand due to an enlarged hand groove in the head, the Alpine Tec doesn't cause finger fatigue when spending multiple days in the hills. A sharp and aggressive 3mm blade provides reliable penetration in both hardpack ice and snow, whilst still allowing for quick deployment for self-arrests.

For steeper climbs a minimalist handrest is included with the axe, this is adjustable without tools which allows you to adapt the handrest to your climb. It provides users with additional purchases for steeper gully missions. Adapting away from the classic mountaineering straight shaft the Apline Tec features a slightly curved upper that provides improved snow penetration on climbs and self-arresting.

Armed with a carbon steel head and 7075 aluminium shaft the Alpine Tec is the perfect arsenal for alpinists and mountaineers going to do battle with the mountain.
