Absolute Ambassador: Matty Hannah

Hometown: Carlisle, Cumbria.

Job: Welder, British Army, 9 Years.

Favourite Tricks: Back board pretzel, toe front 360 tail.

How long I've been snowboarding: I started snowboarding when I was 18, I first strapped on a board at the Snow centre in Hemel Hempstead when I was in training for the Army.

I'd always been an adventurer and thought id give a winter sport a go. From that day I was hooked, and now I spend 3 months of the year travelling around Europe competing at military competitions.

Favourite discipline: Competing at military events we must enter slalom, SBX and slopestyle as all competitions add to make a result individually and for the team.

But my favourite discipline is Slopestyle by a long way. The feeling of going down a course hitting rails and jumps is just something else.

Where I ride: I ride every Tuesday at snowdome Tamworth for freestyle nights, and occasionally at MK and Hemel.

Other Hobbies: Skateboarding, mountain biking, climbing and photography
