About the Union Ultra
The brand new Ultra Women's snowboard bindings from Union are the ultimate choice for freestyle female riders seeking out the most fun and creative lines all over the mountain.
The Ultra bindings are the most spring-loaded binding in the line and every component acts as a suspension system for your boots, loading and unloading with each movement as you ride.
The Ultra bindings come equipped with Unions Stage 11 ASYM Duraflex ST Baseplate. By removing excess material in the toe and heel areas of the base plate, Union have created an innovative asymmetric design which drastically improves the torsional flex of the binding and provides a 360 degree board flex and feel. This, combined with Unions exclusive TPE Outsole technology further improves the bindings dampening and vibration-cancelling properties as this manufacturing process negates the need to apply bushing glue.
Union have added all-new toe and ankle straps to compliment the overall surf-like feel of these bindings. The Forma X Ankle Straps provide instant response and all day comfort thanks to the Exoframe exterior and the Forma interior which forms perfectly to any boot on the market. The new TS 4.0 SL toe straps are ultra lightweight but retain the performance, flexibility and support you need while remaining super durable.
Union have used their exclusive molecular layer technology to produce the new S15 Ultra Duraflex ST Highback, which features a thin molecular layer, adding extra freestyle flexibility and rebound. Equipped with 6 degrees of preloaded forward lean, the Ultra's are designed to hug your boot for unparalleled edge to edge response.
Leading the way in the future of freestyle binding design, the Ultra bindings feature Union's Molecular Bushing technology in the footbed which allows for ultra springy take offs and cushioned landings for all your freestyle needs.
