The Deacon 80 is ideal for intermediate/advanced skiers and a key component to that suitability is in the Multi-Layer Wood Core and 3D Ridge. A combination of softer Poplar wood and heavier Beech provides a perfect combination of strength, without the excess weight. The 3D Ridge increases power transmission from tip to tail but again, doesn't compromise weight. It also decreases the rotational forces going through the core. This trusted mix of performance and ease of use makes it perfect for refining your skills on runs you're comfortable on but also for venturing further afield onto steeper and more varied runs, as it won't punish your mistakes.
The Deacon 80 Lowride is an extremely well-made ski that uses high-quality materials to maximise your enjoyment of skiing. It's not too demanding yet it still retains high levels of performance so you can seamlessly switch between relaxed and technique-focused riding, making it the perfect ski for a broad range of abilities.
- Multi-layer Wood Core- A combination of lighter, softer poplar wood and heavier, stronger beech wood provides a target group-specific combination between light weight, strength, durability and damping: The beech typically concentrates where the most power is needed in the ski - like under the binding or alongside the edges and sidewalls
- Full Sidewall - The specific synthetic substance of the entire sidewall enables a precise and direct power transfer
- Tip & Tail Rocker - Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
- 3D Ridge - A raised central ridge that sharply levels out towards the edges. This increases power transmission from tip to tail, reduces weight and decreases the rotational forces going through the core
