About the Floa Backcountry

Floa have created the Backcountry base layer, perfect for all-season mountain activities, from snow sports to hiking up the mountain path.

Created with a full leg style for warmth and comfort, the Backcountry baselayer is made from a blended Merino fabric that using "Floa MAp" technology, using a body mapping process to engineer the perfect layer between the elements and your skin. The Floa Map utilizes targeted ventilation and compression for top-quality warmth, breathability, and performance.

The construction of the Backcountry is of a circular knit, creating a garment with minimal seams which results in less seam chafing when wearing the garment, perfect for those days where your expenditure may make you perspire! Moisture will be kept to a minimum too, using targeted cooling channels to funnel out the warm air and draw moisture away from the body for ultimate comfort!

The compression technology within the Backcountry creates a perfect layer for exploring and where performance is a necessity. The compression minimizes muscle fatigue resulting in more ride time and better, longer performing on the mountain!
