About the LINE Outline
The LINE Outline is brand new for the 2020 season, and is made in collaboration with freeride skier Eric Pollard. This ski is designed to provide maximum fun on and off the piste and includes a new feature for this year is the convex base tech on the tip and tail which allows you to drift and butter through pow without sacrificing edge grip on hardpack.
The Outline has a 117mm waist width, meaning that it will have no problem floating and drifting in powder and soft snow conditions, as well as gliding over crud slush and variable conditions. For when your cruising more hard-packed snow on piste, a relatively tight sidecut radius of 18.5m also keeps the Outline nimble for short sharp turns between park features, trees or even moguls.
The Partly Cloudy Core is a new core type developed by LINE that combines lightweight paulownia wood with composite materials which maximise strength in the core while minimising weight, in fact the partly cloudy core offers the best strength to weight ratio of any core type in the LINE range. The medium-stiff flex of the Outline provides great stability whether you're charging steep backcountry lines or taking big landings in the park, which is easy thanks to the low swing weight created by LINE's early taper tip & tail shapes.
The Outline has the award-winning design of being one of the best handling skis in the deep snow without compromising its on-piste performance.
