About the LINE Pandora 110

With an updated graphic dor the 2021 season LINE the Pandora series is back again, new last year with the help of pro riders such as Hadley Hammer. In Hadley's words, 'you're never skiing the same snow conditions all day or all season long, so versatility is the most important thing about a ski'.

With a 110mm waist, it's wide enough to offer big mountain performance, offering maximum floatation on the deeper days. Even though, its the widest ski in the range it's still comfortable getting on the edge and carving down groomers and around moguls, this is an ideal ski for anyone who wants to get out on the hill as much as possible and know that this one ski won't let them down.

Taking inspiration from the hugely successful Vision series, LINE started off the Pandora 110 with a Paulownia and Maple core and fibreglass reinforcement wrapped in their Capwall construction. This produces a ski that's surprisingly lightweight, easy to turn and durable, with excellent edge hold across all snow conditions because the sidewall build over the skis edge.

This also contributes to the flex of the ski, which is all about versatility. underfoot and through most of the tail the ski feels strong and supportive, able to remain stable at high speeds and offer a powerful exit to turns. Further, towards the tip of the ski, the flex softens and allows skiers to really drive the ski into fast-paced, agile turn shapes. Helped by the use of LINE's 5Cut technology, which blends five different sidecut shapes into one, this allows for a broad and dynamic range of turn shapes that can cater to a variety of skiing styles and turn shapes, perfect for switching up between on-piste carving and smearing turns in powder.

The shape of the ski tip is a big influence on the performance of the ski in soft snow. A tapered shape pushes the widest point of the ski back towards the binding, minimising the drag and the hooky effect that deeper snow can have and working with the rocker profile to provide float, resulting in a smooth surfing turn ability. Additionally, the tapered area of the ski features Thintip, where the wood core is milled extra thin to lower swing weight and ease up handling.

The Pandora 110 has LINE's Triple Hybrid Construction (THC). This combines three materials Aramid, Carbon Fibre, and Fiberglass, which all vibrate and resonate at different frequencies when skiing. As a result, the materials cancel each other out creating a hyper dampening ski experience without adding weight. This makes the Vision particularly stable at high speeds and able to cope with spontaneous maneuvers easily.
LINE Skis are known for making skis that have a playful personality, so they wanted to make sure that this was visible in the new Pandora series. The rocker profile of the tip and tail loosens the ski, allowing riders to throw them sideways into slashes in soft snow, and the snap of the flex with those carbon filaments lets the ski pop well off piles of snow and natural features found off-piste in freeride skiing.

All of these features combine to make a ski that handles a wide variety of conditions with ease and loads of performance- perfect for seasonnaires and any skiers looking to get the most out of every day they spend on the hill.

Features Include
  • Triple Hybrid Construction- The 3 materials we combined are Aramid (similar to Kevlar), Carbon fiber, and Fiberglass into a proprietary stack laminate, the elements of LINE’s THC vibrate and resonate at different frequencies, this, in turn, cancels each other out creating a hyper damping ski experience without adding weight.
  • Partly Cloudy Core - A blend of lightweight Paulownia and Maple creating the best strength to weight ratio in our line.
  • Directional Flex - Softer nose and stiffer tail keeps the ski stable but makes turn initiation easier and allows the ski to float in softer snow
  • Thintip - Wood core is milled extra thin in the ski tip to lower swing weight and improve manoeuvrability
  • 5Cut Radius - 5-radius sidecut with the tightest radius in the tail for powerful, predictable exits and less unwanted tip hooking
  • Capwall - Combining the edge hold and dampening of a sidewall construction with the lower weight and added durability of a cap construction for the best of both worlds
  • Weight- 1500g (per ski without bindings)
