About the Vango Starav 200

The latest addition to the Vango Trek Experience Collection, the Starav 200 delivers a sturdy tunnel design for backpackers wanting a practical, 3-season trail tent where a low pack weight is key.

The Starav 200 is quick and easy to pitch (avg. 10 mins) with flysheet and inner pitching together with a triple-hoop pole structure that uses durable PowerLite 7001-T6 alloy poles. The Starav is designed for a range of conditions and features Vango's patented TBS®II (Tension Band System) that can be tensioned to remove slack, bracing at 3-points to create a tough, triangular frame within the tent for improved wind-resistance in exposed terrain and changing wind conditions.

Inside, there's room enough for 2 persons with a wide door for easy access and a small vestibule for kit storage. The smart design optimises internal volume with an outward leaning front wall and sit up height for changing. Internal pockets keep smaller essentials close to hand. Through-venting panels at either end can be opened for airflow and moisture management with optional mesh panelling to keep out bugs.

A robust 70D ProTex Shield polyester fabric delivers 3000mm hydrostatic head in the fly and 6000mm in the floor with a taped seam construction for lasting rain protection.
