The latest iteration of the Gecko VP 12+. An all-new iteration while the original is close to perfection, the designers at Montane didn't think so and have strived to improve the previous design to produce a cleaner more comfortable carrying pack.
Providing the ability for you to go further and faster the Montane Gecko VP 12+ Vest Pack is a technically tailored ergonomic vest design that hugs the body for a truly secure fit. The backpack is ideal for a full day on the trail or in the mountains.
The main body is constructed from RAPTOR Flex 4-way 40:30 stretch fabric which has an impressive strength-to-weight ratio. The ergonomic CONTACT Air Mesh Plus harness and FREELIGHT Chassis vest are specifically tailored to carrying loads without compromising on comfort. Montane has fitted the Gecko with POLYGIENE® which permanently controls the odour left by any moisture. The elasticated chassis also features two low-profile stretch chest straps and a quick-release ACTIVE Harness strap, which provides a close fit without restricted breathing.
The pack has a zipped closure with an Integrated bungee- really getting that bit more storage space. There is plenty of storage in the main compartment with a multitude of internal and external pockets and attachment points for easy organisation.
