At the top of Vans' snowboard boot line, the Verse mixes classic Vans style with state-of-the-art features and tech to deliver a high-end, all-mountain/backcountry boot that won't let you down. This upgraded Range edition features an Adaptive Range Mode with a Rear Drop-Cuff that widens the boot's opening and allows a more generous motion.
The Verse's Boa system uses a top-to-bottom tightening system that specifically surrounds your instep area to pull your foot back into the boot and give a secure fit, and the ability to tighten or loosen the flex of the boot, making it fully customizable. The Boa Custom Focus Plus features two high-power reels that control three zones of closure and this combination holds your foot much tighter than that of just having a traditional lace system and allows you to make adjustments on the go without having to fully undo your laces.
The waterproof zipper shroud + D-ring is a durable and weatherproof fabric shield that protects the lower part of the boot from snow, ice, and moisture, ensuring easy access to your Boa closure no matter what the weather throws at you. It also features a metal D-ring for securely fastening your pant gaiters to lock out snow.
Vans' Custom Slide Guide is an anatomically shaped pad that can be moved along the Boa closure system to provide added comfort along the instep area and provide maximum heel hold.
The Verse gives riders the option to custom tune the flex of these boots thanks to Vans' Flex Control System. By choosing the arrangement of the two removable internal tongue stiffeners, the rider can choose to maximize support by leaving both in and increase lateral and medial response by using one, and for a softer boot with more flex remove both. This gives you the option of a softer flexing boot that is great for all-mountain riding and a medium/stiff boot that is great for freeride and backcountry riding. The Flex Control System also ensures a consistent and smooth flex without the boot's shell interfering.
The Verse has been fitted with Vans' top liner - the V3 UltraCush Liner, which is fully heat-mouldable for a perfect fit. The adjustable/removable X-Cage keeps your foot fully locked down to eliminate heel lift and maximize response and control, whilst the closed-seam microsuede cuff and tongue together with the Comfort Flex toe box offer unbeatable comfort from the first lift until the last.
The V3 Liners have been updated with North Face Flashdry tech to create a liner with advanced breathability capabilities to keep your feet dry, reducing discomfort when riding for longer periods.
Finished off with an outer construction that is treated to give a durable, waterproof upper that also looks amazing, a comfy V3 PopCush Footbed, a grippy V3 Ultimate Waffle Outsole, and breathable valves, the Verse represent the pinnacle of dynamics and performance from Vans and is a must-have for advanced riders who want customizable boots.
