Since its inception, YES. has earned a reputation for innovation and excellence, garnering accolades from industry leaders and media alike. Despite having a minimal advertising budget, the brand has consistently received unbiased recognition, affirming the impact of their groundbreaking design theories on the snowboarding experience. For riders, this means added value and enhanced enjoyment every time they hit the slopes with a YES. board. These honours reflect YES. Snowboards' unwavering commitment to pushing the limits of snowboard design and ensuring that every rider experiences the pinnacle of performance and fun on the mountain.

In 2008, three of the world's most influential snowboarders—Romain de Marchi (RDM), Jan Petter Solberg (JPS), and David Carrier Porcheron (DCP)—found themselves without a board sponsor. Their groundbreaking program, UnInc, had been abruptly cut due to the global financial crisis. Inspired by Barack Obama's "YES WE CAN" campaign, the riders decided to embrace the challenge and start their own company. Partnering with the Nidecker brothers, they hand-painted their first boards with the same empowering phrase, "YES WE CAN." This act of defiance and determination marked the beginning of their new brand, YES. Snowboards.
