3 Person Tents

Three person tents are very popular because of their versatility. Whilst a three person tent can obviously sleep up to 3 people, often they are only used by two people because the extra space can be used for storing camping equipment and Backpacks or for stretching out and moving around inside the tent. The compromise versus a 2 Person Tent is the extra bulk and extra weight for backpacking but, when the tent is split and carried by two people, many consider the extra weight insignificant versus the extra comfort it brings.
